Muss gestehen, dass ich beide Versionen kenne und mich deutlich fuer Rod entschieden habe. Schaut man auf die Follower bei youtube, muss ein Jeder neidlos anerkennen, dass es sich bei der Anzahl der Viewer um die Menge der Einwohnerzahl von Deutschland handelt. 81 Millionen haben sich das Video reingezogen. Dazu hat er auch noch live gesungen.

Na denn. Ich bleibe trotzdem dabei - das Sutherland-Original gefällt mir besser als die Stewart-Interpretation.

So ist das eben mit den Geschmaeckern. Sie sind oft verschieden und erzeugen dadurch Abwechselung. Welcher besser ist, kann niemals festgelegt werden, weil wir stets subjektiv beurteilen. Objektivitaet jibbet bei Menschen nicht.

Hihihi, waren sie nicht niedlich, diese "Animals" mit ihrer revolutionären Ponyfrisur und dem Anzug und Krawatte Outfit?
Das "House of the Rising Sun" ist zig-fach interpretiert worden. Neben der Fassung der "Animals" gefällt mir Joni Mitchells Version am besten.
